Nike Warehouse Sale
Where: Agility Center, Ninoy Aquino Ave., Paranaque City
When: December 11-21, 2008, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
I went yesterday to the Nike Warehouse Sale in Agility Center, Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Paranaque. It's after the Duty Free Fiesta Mall. Up to 70% off all items...Super exhausted. I went there at 11 am but they opened 1pm. I was in the first batch and wearing flip flop, after the first batch they announced that slipper and sando were not allowed to enter the warehouse. People got pissed and after a rude confrontation they allowed them to enter except guys wearing sando. In 2 hours inside the warehouse, I bought 2 rubber shoes and 7 shirts/blouses.

Twilight.....
Favorite line:
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb…"
"What a stupid lamb,"
"What a sick, masochistic lion."
I watched Twilight two times, the first one was the advance screening and the other one was the special screening from Nokia. I love the book, it was so romantic. I fell in love to Edward.
Most of the scenes from the book were changed and deleted in the movie, still it was a good romantic movie. I was excited to watch the movie based from what I read from the book which some were not showed. The unforgettable scenes like the Bella room scenes where Bella said I love you and Edward replied your my life now(Kilig)...and the other scenes that was deleted...when Edward said I love you to Bella during the Baseball game. Love the glass house where the Cullen's live but in the book, it was an old big house. Love at the top of a pine tree scene..so romantic.
If I rate this movie, 10 is the highest..its 8. Can't wait for the New Moon...

Shoes Watch....
This year shoe style or design of the local shoe brands...SUCKS! they're running out of designs. Were they affected of the economic crisis we're facing right now? I hope not! Wake up designers, how will the customers buy your shoes if it isn't fabulous enough to make a woman's feet be gorgeous? And customers don't settle for being comfortable..reinvent! If your a sneakers, flat or ballet shoes person, try to wear sometimes a stiletto? A three to four in. high wouldn't hurt a lot.
Attend or Not?

The Reunion
It was a good movie, the production design and choreography were very nice. Troy and Gabriella's mushy scene was still there. Zac was hot...really hot....hahaha. You'll notice who get the top billing for the film. Kids and fans of HSM will enjoy the movie.

love...Sex and the City style
“Year after year, twenty something women come to
Finally! The movie that I am very eager to watch for the past 6 months since I’ve heard it and happened last night. Hides, Beth, and I watched the last full show of Sex and the City in Mall of Asia and went home at 1:00 am.
I’m a Sex and the City fanatic since season 1…I guess 1999 or 2000 was the year that I first watched it on TV (HBO Asia). At first I thought it was all about sex but after I watched 2-3 episodes of the first season….it was about MANOLOs (Manolo Blahnik), it was about relationship, it was about love…finding a perfect person to live happily ever after and of course their sex life. Season 6 was bitin. Because after Carrie realized that PARIS and PETROVKSY were not for her, Mr. Big flew to
Plot: Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), a successful author, contributor editor on Vogue Magazine, and everyone’s favorite fashion icon next door, is back, as she continues to narrate her own story about sex, love, relationship, friends (Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon)) and fashion obsessed single woman in New York City (especially the stiletto shoes) after the hit series ended four years ago in HBO.
Also in the cast: Mr Big (Chris Noth), Carrie’s handsome yet elusive boyfriend. Steve Brady (David Eigenberg) as Miranda’s down to earth husband. Harry (Evan Handler),
What I missed while watching this movie was their chatting about sex, BOTOX, and life. Who could unnotice the clothes, the bags, and the shoes; this is not Sex and the City if it wasn't for the signature brands? Thanks for the costume designer Patricia Field...(the lady who dress the ladies of SATC series and The devil wears prada)I know… I know Manolos was the star in the series but in the movie, it was Vivienne Westwood’s wedding couture gown who stole the show. I amazingly love the concept…oh I almost forgot the place of the wedding, the New York Public Library, I was shocked and never thought that it could be happened.
My rate: it would be a perfect 10…I just love and missed it.
Would love to wtch it over and over again.

Dream Vacation: Maldives
Do you have a dream vacation in mind? Have you ever think where you can relax and have fun? Have you ever think where to spend your vacation leave? Me...in Maldives.
(Maldives: Anantara Resort in Maldives)
Yes Maldives, it's my favorite beach destination. Where I can relax, have fun, and spend my vacation leave. Paris my dream country but Maldives is my dream vacation spot, although I can't swim to 6 feet deep water because I'm afraid of drowning and be eaten by a shark. I'd rather die with a disease or plane crash than eaten by wild creature or ship sink. What I love in Maldives? Its scenery is so spectacularly gorgeous, the sand, the water, the environment, and the people.

Gorgeous CBTL and So am I...
I consider myself a coffee addict...drinking coffee with cream and four tablespoon of sugar is like a marijuana to me. The smell of a coffee bean is like nirvana, a never ending happiness and satisfaction of gratitude. Coffee shop are spreading and invading the world but few coffee shops offer excellent services and a great cup of coffee, either ice or hot. And Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is one of those. The first time I stepped in and bought a White Chocolate Dream Ice Blended drink in CBTL was 3 years ago, I fell in love With it. It was a bliss, a coffee extract and a dreamy white chocolate blended with ice, and non-fat milk topped of with a fudge ribbon. When I was in high school and early college, coffee was my most hated drink next to alcohol except for wine but when I tasted the coffee from coffee bean and tea leaf, it was amazingly and gratifyingly delightful. The taste was different and the aroma was tempting and wonderful. Over the 3 years I had tried different ice blended drink from them, like The Ultimate, an extract blended with chocolate covered espresso beans and your choice of chocolate, vanilla or white chocolate, and my recent favorite drink, the Black Forest, a coffee extract and special dutch chocolate blended with ice, chocolate Espresso beans, maraschino cherries and non-fat milk for a truly unforgettable experience. They also offer Non-ice blended coffee from chocolate to mango flavor drink and the Sunrise, a fresh orange juice and French deluxe vanilla with ice. A Coffee shop will not be called as like that if there are no espresso, brewed coffee, hot chocolate, latte available and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is the best place you can find and drink them.
Last night after we watched a movie, we passed by to CBTL-Mall of Asia, as usual I bought a white chocolate dream drink with extra chocolate syrup and hang out for a while with my friends and talked about stuff about life and our craziness. Did you know that CBTL also provides a quality and pleasant environment to chit chat with your friends, colleagues, and love ones?
What Happens In ....?
Plot: Jack and Joy, two strangers head to Vegas to have fun and away from their troubles, end up a huge shared problem when they wake up married. After arguing, Jack wins the $3 million jackpot using joy's quarter. A sadistic judge freezes the money (and the annulment) until the two can prove that they've tried for six months to make the marriage work. It's an all out war as they fight over the fate of the millions, but a funny thing happens on the way back to the courtroom. Actually, a whole lot of funny things, hence the term "comedy." But one is, they fall in love.
What's good about this movie? They have chemistry on the screen, both two actors have big sense of humor. Even though the story was ordinary they pulled it off. It was fun and we enjoyed the movie very much compared to Heartbreak Kid...it wasn't funny at all.
AAfter we watched the movie, I came with them to SPi and waited for Nazel to go home.
Rating: 8 out of 10

MATCH YOUR MAN...Sex and the City way
Can't wait to see this movie....
Field Trip II
It was a 2 storey big house with 4 air conditioned bedroom, 3 bathroom/comfort room, an Entertainment system, billiard table, an air conditioned dining room, kitchen with complete amenities (2 ref, freezer, gas stove, electric stove, microwave, and etc.) shower room outside the house, and a pool. In front of the rest house was the South China Sea. Swimming on the sea was not advisable that day because of the big wave cause by typhoon BUTCHOY. We swam on the pool the whole day. Not just swimming trip we also had a food trip, non stop eating...hahaha (my diet was ruined). We left Padi on the second day of our trip and headed back to Manila but we decided to passed by Mt. Samat, where you can see a big cross and go to top of that cross. After 2 hours on Mt. Samat we headed back to Manila because some of us have work the next morning.
It was fun and I enjoyed it... If given a chance to go back there, I will...

Favorites!
Movie:
Why I loved this movie? It Address the numerous issues in the black female life, including their exceedingly low position in American social culture and sometimes the explicit content, particularly in terms of violence in 1930's.
It was titled " The Color Purple" because of the conversation between Celie(Whoopi Goldberg) and Shug(Margarette Avery) about faith, what God does to please people, Shug says, "I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it." After Celie asks what God does in response to this obliviousness, Shug replies that he creates something else people will see, because God just wants to be loved.
TV Program/Series:
Sex And The City -- From Candace Bushnell's book turned into a six season smashing hit series by HBO.
Why I loved this series? It is not just the sex, love, or relationship but FASHION!
but As Micheal Patrick King said about Sex and the City... People thought, oh it's just about sex or it's just about fashion. And then slowly over the years people start to see it's really about love ... and relationships ... and sex ... and basically the battlefield of trying to be in love—whether it be with another person or with yourself.
Music Artist:
Mariah Carey -- oh my God! I am a huge fan to maximum level....hehehehe Who could not love her? The best selling female artist in the history, surpassed Elvis Presley from most #1s hit and selling more than 160 million album since 1990's, tied at number 4 with Madonna and Janet of having the #1 album.
Song: Whenever, Wherever, Whatever -- By Maxwell, just love it....
I Still Believe Remix -- By Mariah Carey featuring DA Brat and Bone Thugs N Harmony
Got Till Its Gone -- By Janet Jackson
Bachelorette And Its Oh So Quiet -- By Bjork
Food:
There are lots of food, dishes, or cuisine that I like, from Filipino to Italian to French to
Japanese To Chinese to Thailand to American cuisine. From Filipino food, I like most are the Kare-Kare(especially from the recipe of ate Edna and Kat's dad), Baked Oyster, Baked Tahong, Sopas, Laing from Goldilocks, Mechado from my grandmother's recipe, Pork Adobo from my sister and aunt Intang's recipe, Sinigang, and Bagoong (all kinds). From the Italian cuisine I honestly and deeply in love with their pasta especially the fettuccine and ravioli noodles...cannot resists! Who could not like PIZZA? Please comment..hahaha. What I like about French dishes is the style and elegance they added to their food. Japanese... aishitemasu! Love the Maki, love the sushi, love the tempura but hate Yakuza. Chinese, like the siomai, dumplings, siopao, and others. Thailand....CRUSTASIA! American? it would be TGI Friday's, Wendy's, KFC, MC Donald's, Krispy Kreme, California Pizza Kitchen, And Hard Rock Cafe (all food they serve). Not all food I eat, I don't like dinuguan, fried lumpia, and anything that contains "lamang loob".
(from left: kare-kare, Fettuccine Alfredo With Shrimp, Maki and Sushi platter)
(from left: fried dumplings, oyster rockefeller, Friday's pacific pork grill, thai ice tea)
