I joined the summer outing of Philippine General Hospital-Neuro ICU nurses at Padi, Morong, Bataan last week. The meeting place was at the parking lot of PGH at 4:00 am, unfortunately...Filipino TIME!...we departed at 5:30 am. We arrived in Padi (a private rest house located in Strat Subdivision, Morong Bataan) at 10:30 am, if we're not lost in finding the Strat Subdivision the estimated time would be 9:00 am...
It was a 2 storey big house with 4 air conditioned bedroom, 3 bathroom/comfort room, an Entertainment system, billiard table, an air conditioned dining room, kitchen with complete amenities (2 ref, freezer, gas stove, electric stove, microwave, and etc.) shower room outside the house, and a pool. In front of the rest house was the South China Sea. Swimming on the sea was not advisable that day because of the big wave cause by typhoon BUTCHOY. We swam on the pool the whole day. Not just swimming trip we also had a food trip, non stop eating...hahaha (my diet was ruined). We left Padi on the second day of our trip and headed back to Manila but we decided to passed by Mt. Samat, where you can see a big cross and go to top of that cross. After 2 hours on Mt. Samat we headed back to Manila because some of us have work the next morning.
It was fun and I enjoyed it... If given a chance to go back there, I will...
